Planet Play
Kennedy Space Center
Kennedy Space Center opened the new Planet Play area in January 2021 — a “fully-immersive, multiple-story play experience” designed for kids. MDSX was involved early in the project development to support the design for the dynamic space and provided turnkey delivery of three of the interactives integrated into the area. One of the experiences encourages physical play, as guests are immersed in custom scenic projections of the surface of Venus and Jupiter. The other incorporates a physical puzzle that features interactive responses and energetic feedback, animated by the MDSX team.
